Waterfalls and Rural Art
I live in Upstate NY in the fabulous Finger Lakes area. It is very beautiful, rural and pristine. There are magnificent lakes, the one nearest me being Seneca Lake (one of the deepest Lakes in the world). Into this lake and our next lake over Cayuga, flow hundreds of streams most of which have numerous waterfalls within them. We are surrounded by forests and farmlands, rising over 1000 feet over these lakes. Much of the farming here is done by the Mennonites in the Old Style. Many of them still use horses and buggies and their lifestyle is quaint and appealing. Here are some of my paintings of this area.
